The election is over. But your yard sign can get a new life!
The DuPage County Environmental Division is recycling corrugated plastic yard signs and holders from this year’s election. Go Green Glen Ellyn will make it easy for you to recycle your signs! Simply drop them off to one of the local GE addresses below before noon on November 15th, and Go Green will bring the signs AND metal holders to the drop off point at the DuPage County Building.
Things to note:
Plastic corrugated signs only, no paper
Separate the metal stand from the plastic sign, as these need to be recycled separately.
If your sign is for a candidate you may support in the future, why not keep it or ask their office if they will take them back for reuse?
Remember these signs are being specially recycled. If you miss the drop off window, do not put them in your curbside bin!
