The winter solstice is approaching on December 21! The shortest day of the year is celebrated around the world and has important significance in nature.
Go Green Glen Ellyn is planning our own Winter Solstice night hike event. Bring flashlights, nightlights, bike lights, or any other portable light (no candles or lighters please) and join us as we walk around Lake Ellyn together to celebrate the solstice. After our walk, we will warm up with a beverage in downtown Glen Ellyn (location TBD). RSVP here!
